With your photo session, you can join me in this effort to encourage women toward hope!
I have loved creating images through a camera since I was strong enough to hold my dad's old Nikon, but it is the intimacy of human expression that now captivates me. After a few years of private University, I came to Santa Barbara many years ago for an art school... Brooks Institute. After a year of great images but little direction I put my camera on the shelf and decided to finish my BA in Anthropology at UCSB. Since that time I met my wonderful husband who encouraged me to go back to what I love... portraits.
I quickly realized that my love for photography is also a love for life. I love the perfectly round shape of a pregnant belly, soft white feathers, little wet dog noses, cashmere, the warmth of newborns, robin egg blue, beach walks, white roses and those big beautiful baby eyelashes... the sights and smells, textures and colors that make our world an inspiration. These women are my friends and these babies are the precious reminders of the fragility and intimacy of life. I look forward to getting to know your family as I would my own!
